In partnership with the London College of Fashion, we co-designed and hosted 'The Emergence of Tomorrow', a 7 week, public world-building workshop series. Joined each week by a different guest speaker, providing fuel for deep, real, speculative conversation, we entered together into the realm of possibility.
On the theme of 'post-growth', we set out to nurture alternative narratives to the dominant and destructive ideologies about progress, consumption, and perpetual growth, to collectively imagine what a post-growth world looks and feels like. We explored new (and ancestral) forms of care, pleasure, work, identities, luxury, systems, and communities that prioritise human and ecological wellbeing over financial wealth.
